This brings back memories… Last year, when Annie basically ragequit on the Court and first really began to connect with Ysengrin, I was going through some serious rejection pains. As in, “Girl I liked led me on for months and then started dating my best friend” rejection pains. I…have a tendency to live vicariously through Annie when things get rough, so Ysengrin was a welcome friend for that part of my life. Seeing him come back like this in a much happier setting has brought a smile to my face. :)

I love how the people who don’t ship Kat/Annie are confused in the comments, but all the Kat/Annie shippers know exactly what’s going on.

That girly headband is a symbol of Kat hiding behind a heterosexual facade.

Gamma, someone who’s very open about her relationship with another girl, is removing it.

Zimmy, the girl Gamma is in a very obvious relationship with, is saying “You can’t always run from what scares ya,” which is obviously talking about Kat’s feelings for Annie.

It’s just so hilarious how obvious it is to people who aren’t wearing het-goggles.

“Dammit, Zimmy, what’s going on?” is about right. XD

Annie/Jones new OTP? …nah.

All I can guess is that this is some sort of visual representation of Annie’s internal conflict between the Court and the forest. She loves the forest, but she loves the Court, too. That also might explain the thing that looks like the Couple’s Mask from Majora’s Mask. The split down the middle might represent the split between the Court and the forest.

Oooor, we’re about to find out why Jones is called Wandering Eye to the people of the forest. After all, she was the one who handed Annie the mask, and then the Anwyn got all sad.

Again, Tom seems to magically know exactly how I feel when he makes a page of Gunnerkrigg Court and puts a visual representation of the level and nature of my inner turmoil right on the page.

Okay… I love Tom, I do… And I love his artwork 99% of the time… But I really have no idea why all of the comments on his page are gushing over panel 4. It’s just…really not attractive to me.
