I forgot about that huge slap in the face. Telling Al (who believes that God exists, but is, as it was put in Bruce Almighty, “A mean kid with a magnifying glass, and I’m the ant.”) that Sam will not be alone because he has God is like saying “Your daughter isn’t alone. I left her with that convicted sex offender down the street.”
In other words, ouch.
I swore he was dead. he was dead and then they made him an AI.
I’m one of the biggest Quantum Leap fans on Tumblr. Cross my heart and hope to die, Albert Calavicci is alive. He has a girlfriend and various unfaithful sexual escapades with strangers. He’s frequently sued for more alimony with one of his ex-wives, he’s still in love with his first wife, and his girlfriend’s cheating on him with Gushie, someone else who works at the project. He’s got a life. Most of it is devoted to Sam, but he does have a life.
So, dudes and dudettes! A proposition must be made!
I suggest…a blog. Members could be added on request, but monitored by admins because we don’t want trolls running naked through the streets of Sicily. Members should only be a part of it if they plan to post more than once, but submissions can come from anywhere and anyone. Furthermore, Members can be promoted to Admin should the preexisting Admins agree that it’s a good idea.
There would be a simple concept: Sam/Al STUFF. Doesn’t really matter what. Could be anywhere from finding something online and sourcing it to writing a fanfic or drawing some fanart to “Hey, did you ever notice that there’s a scene in ‘Right Hand of God’ where Al not only stares at Sam’s ass, but starts to follow it when Sam turns around?”
Why? Because nothing like this exists anywhere and we crazy folk NEED THIS.
Just an idea. A half-formed one at that. Spur of the moment here. Just mull it over, slash fans, and holler back.
